Training

I have a number of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) presentations which have been developed to provide engineers and other scheme designers with an increased knowledge and awareness of asphalt and its uses.
I would also be happy to discuss preparing bespoke presentations or providing your presentations to your clients on your behalf.

In addition to covering the basics of each topic the presentations highlight risk areas and detail considerations that are often forgotten. The CPD presentations are suitable to be given to both large and small audiences, although groups of less than ten usually result in better interaction and a more beneficial learning environment. Although the presentations are designed to last approximately one hour, if a good dialogue develops they can take longer.

When a CPD has been booked I will spend some time familiarising myself with the activities of the audience so that I adapt the presentation to suit their needs, if possible I like to speak to a manager to confirm what they hope to achieve from the CPD. A copy of the presentation and a Continuing Professional Development Certificate of Attendance will be provided to each delegate. I recognise that CPDs, often provided at lunchtime, are commonly funded by the presenter, but it should be noted that these are often used as sales tool and actually only cover the products or system provided by the presenter’s company. Being completely independent I am able to provide an unbiased and more widely ranging subject matter.
